3D printing made easy and ethically

I purchased this printer to replace my two creality printers that were the single most expensive cheap printers I have ever owned. They were incredibly unreliable and when they did print they produced mediocre results. After spending literal weeks' worth of time tinkering with them trying to get them to work I ordered this printer after seeing a comment on a YouTube video talking about a small US-based printer company. The promise of an ethically sourced and assembled 3d printer with modern specs in the US was like a dream come true. Yes, this company is small, which means the community is small, things take longer and there aren't as many reviews or experiences to go by. But I took the gamble and this printer is a winner. Print quality is amazing, the printer has been popping parts off the build plate with no problems and support is responsive and willing to jump through hoops to help with the printing process. Also, the pictures will not show it but this thing is built like a tank, I feel like I could throw it off a roof and it'll still print true. So all in all, this printer offers many of the new features and reliability expected from a new printer while offering ethical manufacturing in the US and open-source design.

Wow, just incredible!!!

I've owned enders and prusa printers and had problems with them. When I say the WXR works out of the box I'm not exaggerating one bit. After being a MK3s owner for years I decided to give Wuxn a try because upgrading to the new MK4 didn't make sense.
I can't say enough about the customer service. But the printer, it just works! Works better than MK3s, built better, and required zero tinkering to make incredible prints. Plus I didn't immediately try to look for upgrades for the printer. If you're in the market for a stellar 3d printer and you do not want the printer to become your hobby, look no further than Wuxn WXR. Yes it's more than an ender but the customer service, build quality, and supporting an American veteran owned business made this a no brainer!

Wuxn, excellent work! I can't wait to see what you have in store later down the line. Absolutely Phenomenal!!!

Solid, so far

Had an issue right out of the box: the control screen was damaged in transit. Customer service was extremely prompt and helpful in getting me a replacement.

The setup was by far the easiest I’ve had of any printer I’ve bought, even more so than a printer I bought used and assembled.

I’ve only run a few prints so far, but there have been few issues. A print had a small layer shift, but it appears to have been a one-off.

The bed adhesion is a bit too strong. I’ve been running PLA and every print I’ve had to work to get it off the sheet. Although I’d much prefer that to too little adhesion.

My only other complaint is the lack of extruder commands while a print is paused. I’d like to be able to retract and change filaments during a pause, but there are no commands that I’ve seen for that.

All in all, a good printer for someone either experience, and it’d be great for someone looking to get into printing

Best service around.

I am retired and have been looking for something to do as a hobby. I tripped over the 3-D printer idea and started looking into what I needed.
After reading what is available I settled on buying a Bambu but its main negative is Made in China. I know the product is good but I hope for products made in USA. So at last moment I did a search for printer made in USA. Wuxn was the printer that came up. Wuxn is up front that their printer is built with as much material as possible made here. I trust this. We all have to live with need for products made outside USA. But let's support companies that are working for home grown products!
I ordered WXR. Out of the box the WXR is. Just read instructions and within a short time your are printing your first 3D project
Now comes the service part! OUTSTANDING!!! The problems I am having , I blame on myself. I am 76 years old and as many not up on new technologies. I feel I did things wrong. After printing 5 or six small projects I ran into first problem when filament would not unload. If you are not an experienced person please do seek help. I feel that I may have caused much of down time I have had to live with. Nozzle clog and related problems. I did learn much by working through cleaning nozzle and parts related. Now for shortfall of User's Manual. I feel that Manual need to be written as if customer has no background. Many terms in the manual did not mean a thing to me..
This is where Customer service got involved and responded to my every need. After cleaning the nozzle and "Hot-end" of printer I feel that somehow I caused some settings to get off. I requested help and the Wuxn pros responded and walked me through getting back to where I needed to be. This was a two day process but Service worked with me. Please if you are a beginner go slow and read your manual. Much of the manual may be unclear to people like me but know that Wuxn customer service will help.
I feel that I made the right choice with buying WXR and made (as much as possible) in USA 3-D printer. Well built and feel I will use much in my new hobby!

Decent printer

Traded in a Prusa to get a WXR - the over all bed size is the same as a MK3 with the exception of height - can get another 40mm in height. There is an issue with the slicer where cannot use the full Y distance due to the slicer giving an error for being out of bounds due to the perimeter being outside the print area while the actual print is within bounds. The slicer, for me is very difficult to adjust to - add in the issue above, I am using Prusa slicer for now while still continuing to learn all the nuances of the wuxn slicer. It is faster on many of the prints I have done. The bed adhesion is also great - have had no issues there. For the price, this is a decent to great printer. The test now is longevity.
